2014 ACT Benefit Auction

katyposter.webArts Council of Tamworth (ACT) invites you to enjoy a festive evening with friends and neighbors at ACT’s Benefit Auction on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Runnells Hall in Chocorua, NH, at 7:00 PM, with auctioneers Tom and Rob Troon. Doors will open at 6:00 for viewing and mingling—the evening will include refreshments, salty and sweet, beer and wine, and other hot and cold drinks. AndreaspaintingCome bid on thousands of dollars worth of unique and useful merchandise, gift certificates and services from massage to music lessons, from 12 kinds of pickles to many kinds of pie! Items to be auctioned include theater tickets, local foods & homebaked treats, gift baskets, passes and memberships to theme parks, museums and events, meals at local restaurants and one-of-a-kind original artworks—from a vintage Barnstormers poster by Kate Thompson to a beautiful painting of Bennett Street in North Sandwich by Andrea Kennett to a drawing by noted Austrailian artist Elizabeth Durack to a portrait of YOUR pet by Penny Purcell. Businesses get exposure and connect to new customers, patrons can find bargains on special items or bid on goods and services they would buy anyway, and the nonprofit gets invaluable support for its work. Proceeds from this auction help support ACT’s community-wide Art Connects Us artist residencies: arts enrichment for every kid at Brett, free creative workshops for community members of all ages, unique performances with Choose Your Own Ticket Prices, so the whole community wins!
